I write this in utter disgust over the political drama created by the elected representatives of our country. An assembly/parliament session cannot be held without a din, 'adjournment' is a mere order of the operations and things have took such a bad shape that it's difficult to imagine a session without pandemonium.
The level they have stooped to is disgraceful, shameful to the entire nation. Using a pepper spray in the august house, manhandling the chairperson, semi nude protests, slapping the marshals,... I'm sure, Telugu Film Industry is in dire need of such dramatics and creativity and not definitely Parliament/Assembly.
I strongly support Ayn Rand's views on collective opinion when it pertains to our democracy in its current form. Collective opinion cannot be considered the ultimatum as long as the people are not matured enough ( or as she states that the majority is a bunch of morons). We never accept simple yet brilliant solutions and we do not have a legacy of accepting our great people. We idolize leaders who take us from 'Unbearable' to 'Very dis comfortable'. But never think that these 'unbearable' situations are due to those very leaders.
I do not know what it takes to make people realize the greatness of a person suggesting so simple yet visionary and brilliant solutions and ways of governance. 'Brilliance', 'Stupendous', 'Sanity' - the stature of any such adjective only gets heightened when used to describe him. Yes, we do have such a person in our own JayaPrakash Narayan, who has decided to dedicate his lifetime to see a better India and better lives for us.
I take pride in working as a volunteer for Lok Satta Party. I feel something special writing about them, may be this is manifestation of patriotism within me. I urge everyone to understand the ramifications if wrong people are elected to rule us and not to miss this chance to veto wrong politicians.
It is not enough, if only you go and vote for him. A revolution is need of the hour to see us out of this chaos. It would have been an acceptable regret had we not had a sane option. But, it's utter pity and shame on us, if we take this opportunity to vote out the ones selflessly fighting for us.
